The ISO kit uses a lamp with a pin type connector. The TA kit uses a blade type connector, which sucks and once you plug that lamp in, it will not come back out without breaking it. ![]() The lamp from one will not fit in the other. This kit uses the exact same lamp as the wire lead original but it has a clip in end so the bed electrically sees absolutely no difference.Įither just leave the wire lead kit alone and run Supra lamps or install the ISO, not the Tan America kit and use the original type plug in version and the unit will not have any issues.Īlso, the TA kit and the ISO kit use two different type lamp connectors so they are not interchangable. There is another kit that is offered that ISO, the manufaturer of the bed offers and that one is fine and also does not need the ignitors to be replaced. ![]() ![]() The lamp upgrade kit uses BLV/Ushio lamps which are problematic and the whole kit is a POS. The ignitors are only a problem if you install the upgrade kit that Tan America offered to use plug in lamps.
